Areolar Reconstructive Tattooing
In September 2023 I had the honour of training with Paula McDonald in Glasgow in her 'Areolart' Technique class. Since beginning my permanent make-up career, this treatment was on my list to learn, but I wanted to wait until my skills could really do it justice. So 8 years in I have embarked on the first of what I am sure will be many courses and methods in this area of tattooing. I hold a monthly free clinic for this treatment, or if you wish you can jump the waiting list and a pay a no profit fee. Part of the payment is donated to charity.
See what happened on my training...
I travelled to Glasgow to train in this technique after doing much research into how and who I wanted train with. It's such an incredibly important treatment to be able to offer and I really wanted a good foundation training that I could then build upon. I spend much time since trading drawing and practicing the techniques and researching what training I want to next, along with related charities that I would like to support. Have a look through my picture gallery that I am adding to all the time of what I did on training and what I have done since. I hope you enjoy it.
The Nipple Innovation Project (NiP) is the UK’s first mastectomy tattoo charity, providing education and funding for this life-changing service.
Or in short, they help breast cancer survivors get their nipples (and the confidence that comes with them) back, via amazingly realistic, long-lasting tattoos.
They work with a team of experienced, specially trained tattoo artists across the UK and Ireland to make sure breast cancer survivors who want to restore their nipples can do so without the worry of cost or repeat hospital visits.

As a business this charity supports a service that is very close to our hearts. The Nipple Innovation project is our chosen charity. We would love you support to them by donating to the project if you can, but simply increasing awareness would be amazing!
