Radio Frequency is a new treatment developed by combining 2 very successful anti-ageing treatments; Radio Frequency Current and Microneedling. It increases the effect of each treatment 10 fold by using them in conjunction with each other.  It is a non-surgical and minimally invasive treatment commonly used to improve the appearance of the skin and address various skin concerns.

Microneedling involves the use of a device with fine needles that create small punctures or micro-injuries in the skin's surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural healing response, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin fibers. Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that help maintain the skin's elasticity and firmness. By triggering this natural rejuvenation process, microneedling can help improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and minimize scars and stretch marks.

In the case of RF Microneedling, radio frequency energy is combined with the microneedling technique. The device used for this procedure has needles that are equipped with electrodes that deliver RF energy into the deeper layers of the skin. The RF energy heats the underlying tissues, stimulating collagen production and tightening the skin.

The combination of microneedling and RF energy offers several benefits. The controlled delivery of RF energy allows for precise targeting of specific areas, such as wrinkles or acne scars. The RF energy also enhances the overall results of microneedling by promoting more collagen remodeling and skin tightening. This dual action helps to improve skin laxity, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance skin tone and texture.

RF Microneedling is typically performed by a trained healthcare professional or a licensed aesthetician. Before the procedure, a numbing cream may be applied to minimize any discomfort. The device is then passed over the treatment area, creating micro-injuries in the skin while delivering the RF energy. The depth of the needles and the intensity of the RF energy can be adjusted based on the individual's specific needs and skin condition.

Following the procedure, patients may experience some redness, swelling, or mild discomfort, which usually subsides within a few days. It is essential to follow the post-treatment instructions provided by the healthcare professional to promote proper healing and achieve optimal results.

RF Microneedling is considered a safe procedure for most individuals, but it may not be suitable for everyone. It is recommended to consult with a qualified professional to determine if RF Microneedling is the right treatment option for your specific skin concerns and medical history.

Overall, Radio Frequency Microneedling is an advanced cosmetic procedure that combines the benefits of microneedling and radio frequency energy to improve skin texture, reduce signs of aging, and enhance skin tightness and tone.
