Wrinkle Reducing Injections

This treatment is used to target the glabellar (frown) lines, crows feet and lines on the forehead. These facial lines are known as dynamic wrinkles and are caused by muscle movements. Temporarily blocking the nerve impulses from the muscles this treatment which is injected, prevent teh muscle from contracting. By doing this the wrinkle is softened and is often not visible, depending on severity and depth. 

Claire will ensure that you are suitable treatment following a comprehensive consultation. She will also establish your treatment goals and ensure that this is the most appropriate treatment for you to achieve them. Claire may recommend a different treatment is she feels that you are unsuitable or if there is better alternative for you. 

The procedure usually takes around 15 minutes. In this time Claire will ask you to pull some facial expressions to understand your facial muscle movements. After disinfecting your skin and marking the injections sites Claire will inject the treatment in each of the areas to be treated.

Following treatment it is important that you do not rub or massage the areas for 24 hours, cleanse your face gently and avoid the treated areas, do not apply make-up for at least 4 hours post treatment and avoid saunas, steam rooms and physical exercise for 24 hours.
